Past event: Airlines, MRO, Aircraft & Engine Lessors – The Tricky Triangle

Greater than 40% of the global airline fleet is leased.

And it’s costing both Lessors and Leasees millions in unexpected expenses.

Airlines are feeling the impact on their bottom line as a result of unexpected, last minute maintenance requirements incurred when the aircraft is returned.  Millions of dollars are being spent by airlines on costly penalties and lost by leasing companies when turn-around times last minute maintenance obligations.

Aviation Week’s Airlines, MRO, Aircraft & Engine Lessors – The Tricky Triangle forum focuses on the role of maintenance in Leasing.  Case studies from airline M&E departments and finance departments will be used to demonstrate how they are collaboratively working to stay within the confines of the lease agreements, while keeping their operating costs low.

Airlines, maintenance providers and their suppliers will learn contract negotiating, terms to be wary of and clauses to request.  Presenters will deliver pro-active strategies to ensure that lease requirements are met and ultimately keep lease return fees to a minimum.

Lessors will learn strategies for transparent contracts that promote understanding and compliance with their requirements and ensure aircrafts and engines are returned in ideal condition for quick turn-around.
