learn EAR any place any time

Now you can learn at your own pace, when you have time from your desktop...at your home office or at work. The Export Compliance Training Institute has created online export compliance training e-Seminars, in which we have adapted our unparalleled high-quality live training into an easy to use plug-n-go format. The training is on a USB drive so you can take it wherever you need to go, no internet access required! The training includes a comprehensive printable training manual in Adobe pdf searchable format for you to use as a permanent resource.

e-Seminars combine videos of our highly respected experts John Black and Maarten Sengers alongside the actual power point presentations shown at our live seminars. Both instructors have over 25 years of experience in the field of US export controls. E-Seminars contain the same material that is covered in our live 2-day US Export Controls and Defense Trade Controls Seminars -- without the time or cost of travel.

Please fill in your name and email to receive the end-user license agreement for e-seminar of this event.

Accreditation Program

ECOP™ Accreditation from the Leader in Export Compliance Training

Get Recognition for Your Expertise and Build Your Professional Credentials.

Export Compliance Training Institute (ECTI) has established a solid reputation as the world leader in US Export Compliance training programs. With ECTI’s seminars, you have always been able to document your participation in our courses — but now we are offering a new Export Compliance Professional accreditation test at course completion, to certify your mastery of the concepts.

By taking and passing our Export Compliance Professional (ECOP™) accreditation test, you can demonstrate to your employer and colleagues that you have mastered the content and that you have the skills necessary to perform your export compliance duties.

This accreditation benefits you and your company by:

  • Demonstrating your achievement in the solid knowledge and application know-how of export compliance regulations
  • Providing a systematic framework for a continuing education plan and documentation of your current export regulation mastery
  • Creating less compliance risk for your company
  • Helping you to move more quickly along your career path and providing solid evidence of your skills on your résumé

How the Accreditation works:

  • Take one of our qualifying live seminar courses or e-seminar courses. The ECOP™ test is emailed after completion of the course.
  • Pass rate for the ECOP™ test is 85% or higher.
  • Accreditation is valid for a period of 2 years from course completion.
  • Accreditation can be renewed by taking the relevant current ECTI live or e-seminar course(s) or another approved Continuing Export Compliance Education (CECE) course (see terms and conditions).
  • Accreditation Renewal tuition is at a 20% discount off of regular tuition price.
