Past event: ISR Summit

A New Vision for Powerful Capabilities to Deliver Actionable Intelligence

Finding a constantly adapting, moving enemy requires intelligence gathered from many sources – land, sea, air, space and cyberspace.

Data is collected continuously from a wide variety of sensors, including UAVs, satellites and ground sensors. However, there is not enough bandwidth to send it all down the pipe and not enough analysts to analyze it. Moreover, with the sheer number of organizations providing ISR, stovepipes are a problem leading to a redundancy, inefficiency and lack of interoperability. There are so many different ISR sensors, hardware and capture/viewing software with no common database to store/retrieve all the data.

IDGA’s ISR Summit will gather together thought leaders and decision makers in order to discern a new vision for tomorrow’s ISR. The Summit will focus on:

  • New Approaches to PED: Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination of Intelligence Data
  • Building New Network Architectures and Fusion Capabilities
  • Ensuring Interoperability Across Next-Generation and Legacy ISR Systems
  • Data Management Solutions Utilizing Cloud Networking Developments
  • Efforts Towards ISR Standardization in the Intelligence Community
  • Pre-Summit Intelligence Collection and Processing Technologies Day, which will delve into the technologies that allow quicker access to actionable intelligence

Participants will gain insight into the needs, usage and vocabulary of other ISR organizations, with the goal being a greater understanding of other environments commonalities, differences and potential ways to combine efforts and increase efficiencies

Hear about the latest plans, programs and R&D from leaders and innovators including:

  • Major General James O. Poss, USAF, Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance
