Your Instructor

Steve Reese

Steve Reese is the President of Reese Energy Consulting which was formed in 1994. Reese Energy Consulting has offices in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Dallas. Their main business focus is gas, oil, and NGL marketing, midstream asset business development and management, gas processing contract negotiations, asset evaluation, and pipeline / midstream acquisition and divestment. Mr. Reese has over 35 years’ experience in the natural gas business. Reese has helped acquire and operate midstream assets over his career with total values exceeding $1 Billion.

His client list includes all phases of the gas business including small and large producers, major law firms, utilities, midstream companies, and end users such as: Pemex, Linn Energy, Williams Natural Gas, The University of Oklahoma, The United States District Court, Redbud Energy, Centerpoint Field Services, Gulfport Energy, West Texas Gas, and Mustang Fuel.

He is also the founder and CEO of Reese Energy Training, Inc. and has taught Natural Gas Basics, Midstream, NGL, and Gas Processing Courses to every major energy firm in the U.S. and to over 10000 industry professionals. Reese’s in-house training clients include: Devon Energy, Samson, Lumen Energy, Oneok, Boardwalk Pipeline, Yates Petroleum, Enbridge, LDC Gas Forums, Detroit Edison, and ProLiance.

He is a recognized industry speaker with recent engagements for The Oklahoma Marginal Well Commission, The National Royalty Association, the Kansas Independent Oil and Gas Association, The Natural Gas Society of Oklahoma, the Desk and Derrick club, the Oklahoma Law Review, and the Permian Basin Gas Society.
