Past event: Asset Integrity Management Stavanger Conference

Optimising full lifecycle safety, reliability and efficiency of offshore assets, whilst reducing operational costs

With the age of offshore oil and gas assets on the Norwegian continental shelf now averaging over 25 years, ensuring the effective, efficient and cost-effective operation of these assets is becoming an ever more pressing industry challenge.

Add to this the continuing primary focus on safety, not least in a post-Macondo world, and its plain to see that the role of asset  integrity has never been more critical to the offshore oil and gas sector.

What is New?

AIM Stavanger 2015 will provide operator- and contractor-side maintenance, operations, corrosion, asset and HSE leaders a focus on emerging strategies and technologies for optimising full lifecycle safety, reliability and efficiency of offshore assets, whilst reducing operational costs in a period of softer oil prices.

Benefits of Attending:

  • Discuss emerging inspection and maintenance strategies that will contribute to safe, productive and efficient operations
  • Find out how AIM can more effectively contribute to cost control in a period of softening oil prices
  • Explore the increasing importance of human factors and knowledge transfer in evolving AIM strategies
  • Hear current case studies from operators, contractors and service providers on key aspects of developing a dynamic and integrated AIM programme to embed safety, reliability and efficiency
  • Compare emerging corrosion, coatings and NDT technologies and other solutions to protect and extend the lifecycle of the assets you’re responsible for

In addition, AIMS 2015 will focus on optimising continuous improvement through human factors and knowledge transfer, along with the selection, design and performance of materials.
