Past event: Asset Integrity Management Aberdeen 2015 Conference

Optimise performance, processes and production to achieve assured asset integrity

The Wood Report into maximising recovery of oil from the UKCS, released 24th February 2014, called for “significantly improved asset stewardship” as one of the key factors in improved resource extraction on the UKCS. More importantly, for those working in the asset integrity field, the report highlights “safety performance and integrity management” as two of the eight key critical indicators to improving asset stewardship.

With the vast majority of platforms in the North Sea nearing the end of their life-cycles, implementing a robust asset integrity programme is crucial for companies operating in the region.

Simultaneously, at a time of softening oil prices and significantly lower margins, the need to streamline asset integrity operations, in order to minimise costs and improve production, has never been more urgent.

With this in mind, the 10th Annual Asset Integrity Management Summit looks to address the impact of aging assets and smaller margins on maintenance, HSE and production, and looks to determine the most economical and effective solutions for operators to overcome the challenges facing them.

Join senior asset managers, corrosion specialists, maintenance professionals, process safety and HSE specialists along with asset and offshore installation managers from oil and gas operators in Aberdeen to:
  • Explore maintenance and inspection strategies that will contribute to a safe, productive and efficient operating environment
  • Gain insight into strategies for employee competency management that can be implemented to improve the effectiveness of risk reducing programmes through training and internal communication
  • Hear current case studies from leading solution and service providers on asset risk management, offering crucial strategies in minimizing risk, key developments in software and analysis tools along with tried and tested key performance indicators
  • Compare key corrosion solutions, treatments, and strategies to aid in upkeep and battle against hydrocarbon releases
  • Learn how to effectively extend the life of mature assets from leading regional case studies
