Past event: Modular Construction and Prefabrication Summit for Oil & Gas

To Modularise or Not to Modularise?

If you attended our 1st Modular Construction & Prefabrication for Oil and Gas event then you will be aware of the exceptionally high calibre of speakers, content and delivery we bring with this event.

Whilst last year’s Modular Construction & Prefabrication Summit focused specifically on the design stage of modular construction projects, this year we are taking an holistic approach and focusing on the entire life cycle of modular construction. The programme will be dedicated on the decision making process, planning, logistics and transportation of the modules right the way through to the construction phase – focusing on management, communication and change execution.

This year’s event will arm you with the knowledge to ensure you can deliver your projects on time and within budget.  With the market remaining volatile,  it has never been more important to understand how to maximise productivity within limited resources – so come and join us at Modular Construction & Prefabrication Summit to remain strategic and competitive over your competitors!

Our 2015 event will feature the below topics:

  • Aligning the Land and Transportation within the Project to Prevent Delays and Project Creeps
  • Planning Using IT: Computer Modelling as a Pre-emptive Measure
  • How to Staff a Project: Capabilities of Contractors – Hyperlink
  • Interface Management between Multiple Modules and Multiple Contractors
  • Analysing Right to Left Thinking: Start up Strategy to Construction Completion Strategy

Maximise your learning by attending 4 pre-conference interactive workshops including:

  • Workshop A: Site Visit to Heerema Zwijndrecht, featuring a full excursion of the assembly hall 1, assembly hall 2, the structural prefabrication shop, piping prefab shop, and lastly, the fully conditioned blasting and painting workshop
  • Workshop B: Decision Making: To Modularize or Not to Modularize? Supplying you with strategies to assist you in deciding whether modular construction is right for your project and to what extent
  • Workshop C: Analysing Heavy Lift, Transportation, Logistics and Installation of Modules giving you a break down into tools and approaches to tackle complex logistics to prevent project creeps
  • Workshop D: Projecting Best Practice within Project Management and Communication providing you with strategies to support your team to ensure that projects are delivered accurately, on time and within budget

Join us this 21-23 September for Knowledge, Networking and Collaboration as we develop the future of the modular & prefabricated space within the oil and gas industry and beyond!
