Leveraging Big Data and Predictive Analytics to Support Mission Success

The 5th Annual Big Data for Intelligence Symposium will allow members of the Intelligence Community, military, government, academia, and technology providers to come together in a town-hall forum to discuss how to best leverage Big Data and Predictive Analytics. Current and future techniques and challenges regarding data exploitation will be deliberated in an effort to help our nation gain a powerful intelligence advantage.

New Topics For This Year's Symposium Include:

  • Utilizing big data analytics in the information enterprise environment
  • Development of a common operating picture from data stored in cloud to force availability of information
  • Implementation of big data for disparate data and accompanying analytic capabilities
  • Usage of intelligent machines and analytics to help decision making, reduce operational costs, increase reliability of systems, increase productivity, and increase user experience
  • Leveraging big data methods to empower combat operations
  • Usage of data mining and big data to make effective choices and increase predictability
  • Applying predictive analytics as a significant forecast benefit in staying ahead of threats and identifying global hot spots
  • Mining information and mass data sets to effectively solve complex problems
  • Promoting security by relying on commercially supported open source platforms for big data analytics

Why Should you Attend the 2017 Symposium:

This educational Symposium brings together government, military, academia, and technology providers to discuss the latest challenges and opportunities surrounding Big Data. By effectively tackling massive data sets with more advanced predictive analytic methods, the US Government can forecast and enhance decision-making to adequately support the force.

In today's world, there is an insurmountable quantity of data with the potential to be turned into useful or ''actionable data.'' When such data is effectively exploited, the nation can form more targeted decisions. These data-driven decisions are applicable to every organization's mission.

This Symposium will feature senior level discussions surrounding updates and new developments on technologies and predictive analytical approaches to effectively manipulate large data sets. Leaders will discuss the significant benefits and varying techniques of using predictive analytics to enhance critical decision-making.
