The 6th Annual
Automated ISR and Battle Management Symposium encourages members of the DoD, Intelligence Community, military services, and critical organizations to come together to discuss solutions and techniques to exploit ISR data in support of the warfighter. Due to the high volume of data being generated, operators have turned their focus towards increased
ISR capabilities and expedited efficiency in PED to ensure timely and accurate intelligence. This program will facilitate discussions aimed at enhancing
ISR capabilities and emphasizing the significance of battle management systems to fight and win in a multi-domain environment.
Topics to be Covered at the 2018 Symposium:
- Achieving C2 and fusion needs of an Air Force that is increasingly relying upon a data-centric battlefield
- Efforts towards acquiring machine-machine technologies and communications to facilitate C2 and battle management
- Executing global ISR missions to support combatant command and air components
- Developing intelligence capabilities and affordable modernization strategies to enable the future force
- Advances toward employing flexible communications links to provide rapid data sharing
- Alleviating the workload of intelligence analysts by using new tools to automate ISR information and capabilities
- Effectively applying GEOINT to advance our nation's ISR capabilities

ISR resources are being utilized as effectively and efficiently as possible in support of mission success.
The objective of this year's symposium is to emphasize the increased need for optimized
ISR capabilities as well as ways to critically identify collection gaps. This year will also highlight the reliability and effectiveness of battle management systems in aiding and executing mission goals.
This symposium will feature senior level discussions that emphasize the critical need for open architecture structure to aid data sharing, as well as efforts towards acquiring machine-machine technologies to enhance C2 and battle management. This symposium will allow for open and honest dialogue to solve the nation's most difficult challenges surrounding the efficiency of
ISR capabilities.
