Past event: DoD Information Warfare Live Broadcast Symposium

Leveraging the Convergence of EW & Cyber Technologies for Information

Our 3rd Annual Information Warfare Symposium is designed as an educational, training "Town Hall" style forum, where thought leaders and key policy-makers across military services, government agencies, acquisition authorities, academia & industry will be brought together for actionable discussions and debate on how advances in electronic warfare and cyber technologies are transforming the modern battlefield operations & enhancing joint efforts towards winning the information war.

Topics of Discussion:

  • Developing CYBERCOM's Approach to Defend Forward & Prepare for Influence Operations in the Form of Information Warfare
  • Integrating EW technologies to transform modern battlefield operations & maintain technological superiority in the era of Great Power Competition
  • Leading Army's efforts to build new formations & skills to better compete against adversaries in the information environment
  • Utilizing information warfare operations across the Fleet to provide speed for advantage
  • Achieving information warfare outcomes across the conflict continuum to ensure a more agile, lethal Air Force
  • Creating a synergy in the information environment through the combining Space & Cyber capabilities for a competitive MAGTF advantage
  • Advancing information warfare dominance through Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations
  • Fielding area-wide & targeted Cyber/Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA) effects for the Soldier at the tactical edge

Why You Should Attend This Symposium:

The current strategy calls for the DoD is to continue to ramp up investments in electronic warfare. Administration requests for research funding for unclassified electronic warfare capabilities have increased from $4.9 billion in fiscal 2019 to $5.5 billion for 2021. There will be a continued focus on using information warfare methods to disrupt & stop the spread of disinformation by the adversary, whether it be in the battlespace or to combat attempted interference in U.S. Elections. The Information Warfare Symposium will focus on initiatives from each of the services as to how they are utilizing electronic warfare capabilities & information warfare to enable a strategic decision advantage for the Warfighter & Combatant Commanders at the operational and tactical levels.

Senior Leaders at this forum will detail how EW & Cyber operations can enable the Warfighter to be successful in contested information environments, and alert them to where adversaries are operating. They will also explain their efforts to ensure persistent engagement & more effectively execute electronic warfare & information operations into all-domain operations. This event will offer insight into & give industry the opportunity to learn where they can assist the DoD on developing new technologies to increase agility & lethality of the Force. Attendees will hear of the push amongst the Services for collaborative efforts to ensure there is effective training & equipping of cyber/information operators to decisively deter, compete, & win in the information environment. Additionally, a panel discussion at this Symposium will examine innovative ideas & technologies, such as AI, that are being implemented by the DoD JAIC & others to support the future of information warfare.

Our team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Symposiums' content and focus areas.
