Modernizing Big Data Innovation to Deliver Actionable Intelligence

The 9th Annual Big Data for Intelligence Symposium will bring together senior level speakers from across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, U.S. Military Commands, Federal Government, Academia, and Industry to discuss the modernization, management, and transformation of vast amounts of data into actionable, understandable intelligence.  With this, the 2021 Summit will aim to explore ways to innovate technological solutions and collaborate across the big data community to enable more accurate data-driven decision making and to enhance operational situational awareness at the tactical and strategic levels.

Current Health and Safety Protocols

Topics to be covered at the 2021 Symposium:

  • Accelerating Technology Innovation to Leverage the Power of Big Data
  • Operationalizing a Data-Centric Intelligence Community
  • Leveraging Data as a Strategic Asset for Operational Advantage Across the Department
  • Collecting and Utilizing Data as the “Ammo of the Future” for the Future Fight
  • Accelerating the Air and Space Force's Abilities to Make Data-Driven Decisions
  • Revolutionizing the Navy's Use of and Policies for Big Data to Optimize Operations
  • Enabling the DODIN to Support the Full Spectrum of Military Operations in Multi-Domain Operations

Why You Should Attend This Symposium:

Our 9th Annual Big Data for Intelligence Symposium will provide the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, US Military, members of academia, and industry the opportunity to discuss ways to improve the management and utilization of big data for greater information sharing, situational awareness, and data-driven decision making. This year's Symposium will explore the modernization and implementation of big data strategies to transform growing amounts of information into actionable intelligence.

As the Department of Defense's 2020 Data Strategy aims to transform the Department into a data-centric enterprise that harnesses data as a strategic asset and as the IC seeks to operationalize a data-centric intelligence community, speakers will explore ways to enhance data-driven concepts and integrate commercial-sector innovation to improve military operational effectiveness across all domains. Attendees at the event will have the unique opportunity to discuss how to get data-driven insights to leaders and decision-makers at speed and how to connect intelligence from multiple sources to provide enhanced situational awareness and information dominance. Speakers and attendees will explore the movement toward storing data on the cloud, how to balance sharing and safeguarding information across the IC and DoD, and efforts to improve JADC2 to use data for operational advantage on the battlefield. This year's panel will discuss the growing need to develop, educate, and train a data-literate, data-centric workforce that can collect, analyze, and secure data properly across the DoD and IC. Join us at this year's Big Data for Intelligence Symposium to learn and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the big data and intelligence communities as the IC, DoD, industry, academia, and military work together to leverage data to win.

Our team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Symposiums' content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in data science as well as key-policy makers across military and civilian offices. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
