Past event: Military Aviation & Air Dominance Summit 2022

Leveraging Technological Innovation to Modernize Military Aviation Platforms

The 4th Annual Military Aviation & Air Dominance Summit provides members within the Military Aviation community, Acquisition Authorities, Industry, Academia & other critical partners, the opportunity to participate in a 'Town-Hall' style discussion on the strategic initiatives & operational goals being prioritized across the DoD to ensure air dominance. This Summit will detail how the Military Services, with the help of industry partners, are working to enhance the technological superiority of military aviation platforms, and field capabilities that will make these systems more agile, lethal, networked, & affordable.

Current Health and Safety Protocols

Topics of Discussion:

  • Advancing DoD initiatives toward ensuring the technological superiority of military aviation platforms
  • Leading Army's efforts to keep pace with high-tech adversaries through the utilization of the MOSA approach
  • Bolstering Army's efforts to increase air dominance through the acquiring & fielding of low, fast, networked & lethal aircraft
  • Achieving & maintaining air superiority over the adversary through the developing of a technologically advanced future fighter force
  • Providing combat ready, sustainable Naval Air Forces that are properly equipped & trained for mission success
  • Fielding enhanced capabilities such as Air Launch Effects (ALEs) that will help modernize Army's aviation weapon systems
  • Guiding the Future Vertical Lift (FVL) CFT's goals toward producing two new, complex military aircraft with cutting-edge technologies
  • Utilizing the Open Architecture Platforms in major aviation programs to help reduce operational risk & increase overmatch

Why You Should Attend This Summit:

The revenue of North America aerospace avionics market crossed $23 billion in the year 2018 and is predicted to touch 29-billion-dollar mark till 2025. Domestic economic interest and assurance of future military dominance have propelled the aerospace avionics community. For Service aviation programs, funding for the Future Vertical Lift Cross Functional Team (CFT) will rise from $1.13 billion in the current fiscal year to $1.56 billion in 2022; while the Air Force is focused on shifting funds to the new aircraft such as the NGAD model, in which they have allocated 623 million for in FY 22.

This year's forum will examine progress made in Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) program, particularly regarding the FARA & FLRAA aircraft; provide an update on the Air Force's current initiatives for the NGAD program & show how military & industry have leveraged the MOSA approach to fundamentally transform acquisition. This approach is helping to bring about the fielding of new avionic platforms, that are increasing competition as well as a system of systems approach. Attendees at this event will have the chance to hear about how this interoperable strategy has been rolled out & made a priority by all the services, as a way help the Warfighter achieve & maintain dominance in the air. Enhanced training methods, as well as technologies such as Air Launch Effects are enabling the Warfighter to fly at the lower tier of the airspace to avoid the anti-access/area denial capabilities of advanced adversaries. This will help to increase readiness in a constantly changing Operational Environment. Finally, this Summit will also detail the push across the military to continue to develop modernized aviation platforms, rather than sustain legacy ones.

Our team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summits' content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in the military aviation community, to include key acquisition authorities & policymakers across the military commands.
