The 4th Annual DoD Energy and Power Summit will focus on the technologies and policies necessary to support greater energy efficiency, resiliency, affordability, and environmental sustainability for the Department of Defense for both fixed and mobile environments. Attendees will hear from Military and US Government leaders about current efforts to meet the need for increased power systems in response to new, innovative, and rapidly developing military technology. In addition to requiring more power, these systems must also demonstrate greater resiliency against threats -both natural and manmade. This forum will also offer up discussions on the critical importance of having more efficient systems and installations by reducing current carbon emissions to meet DoDs future 21st Century energy goals.

As part of its 2022 budget, DoD has requested $26.1 billion in funding. This would allow for increased spending on Military construction and sustainment restoration, and modernization efforts. It would also enable the replacement, restoration, and modernization of enduring facilities to enhance their resilience against natural and manmade threats.

Attendees will hear directly from experts and leaders in the energy & power sectors about current DoD initiatives as well as efforts to overcome challenges through innovative partnerships with industry. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with a panel discussion on the critical importance of having more efficient systems and installations by reducing current carbon emissions to meet DoDs future 21st Century energy goals.
