Coming shortly after the publication of the Republic of Korea new Indo-Pacific strategy, this unique forum brings together senior representatives from navies, coast guards, procurement agencies, academia, international partners and domestic industry, Surface Warships and OPV Asia will cover the full spectrum of threats faced and operations conducted. With one of the nine core lines of effort in the Indo-Pacific Strategy being ‘Expand Comprehensive Security Cooperation’ there is much to discuss. Within this context the conference will address two key themes: How can current platforms deliver more capability? And how can we adapt future platforms to meet the evolving requirements of the region?

The conference takes places over 3 days - 18-20 April. The first day is reserved for a site-visit to the HHI Shipyard in Busan. The 19-20 April, are reserved for the conference session; presentations and panel discussions hosted at the Ananti Hilton Busan
