Automotive Functional Safety Week

Building on the success of our Application of ISO 26262 and SOTIF 2022 conferences, and in a new format for 2023, the Automotive Functional Safety Week returns to Berlin, bigger, highly technical & more focused than all previous years.

With everything in the automotive industry becoming more electrified, and the push towards part or full automation, additional safety questions are being raised to cope with new system development. As working group members begin preliminary activities to develop the third edition of ISO 26262, the relationship between functional safety and new topics, including SOTIF, security, ADAS, software, artificial intelligence and other distributed functions is becoming increasingly important for the community. Additionally, following the release of ISO 21448:2022, SOTIF is becoming a hotter topic in the shift towards higher levels of autonomy, broadening the scope of what needs to be considered for safe product development.

As the process landscape continues to grow and change dramatically, and functional safety evolves, the 2023 Automotive Functional Safety Week agenda has been designed in close consultation with working group members as a sharing platform for solutions & best practices for achieving compliance with ISO 26262 & SOTIF, giving attendees the opportunity to discuss complementary standards in the same room. as well considering connections between functional safety, cyber security, and developments in autonomous driving.

The team looks forward to bringing members of the functional safety community together again on April 24th - 27th, in Berlin, Germany, to hear from leading OEMs, Tier 1s, and semiconductor suppliers, focusing on the greatest challenges facing the industry right now.

    Join us for the third main day of the conference to address key challenges of implementing SOTIF, sharing use cases and encouraging discussion on progress made in SOTIF development & application
