Why You Should Attend:

Our 9th Annual Identity Management Symposium will address current biometric and identity intelligence developments that support military and federal government personnel in securing networks and delivering accurate results through technologies such as facial recognition, iris and fingerprinting. This year’s forum brings to light the continued importance of continuously striving to ensure the safety of U.S. citizens by deterring adversaries and exposing unauthorized identities trying to access federal networks.

Within DHS, the NDAA FY23 budget includes $16.1 Million towards zero trust implementation on six digital infrastructure improvement initiatives. Another $29.3 Million has been approved towards zero trust implementation, security logging, and cyber reserve to support the expansion of the existing ICAM and networking contracts to build a cybersecurity program that can detect, stop and recover from any threat. The U.S. Army also received a significant amount of funding through the NDAA for FY23 with $12.7 Million allocated for the Army’s Biometric Enabling Capabilities (BEC) system development and demonstration program focusing on account automation, centralized and continuous authentication and data and attribute sharing. An additional $2.27 Million was allotted for the Army’s Biometric Tactical Collection Devices program, a biometric identity tool that collects, matches and shares biometric data on known or suspected persons of interest. This year’s event will offer attendees the opportunity to hear and engage with senior leaders of the U.S. Government and DoD on the enhancement of identity solutions.
