Military Virtual Training & Simulation Summit 2025

February 5-6, 2025 - Orlando, FL, United States

The 8th annual Military Virtual Training & Simulation Summit will provide a forum for members of the DoD, Military Services, Federal Government, Industry, Academia, and other relevant stakeholders to discuss the future of modeling, simulation, and virtual training technologies in preparing Warfighters and decision-makers to be trained, ready, and lethal for the future fight. The 2025 VT&S Summit will aid in advancing the DoD's ability to deliver virtual environments that provide hyper-realistic training scenarios that enhance warfighter readiness, enable lethality, and enforce battlefield cohesion across the services at all echelons, in all domains.

Topics to be Covered

  • Acquiring Virtual Training Technologies Across the Army to Improve Soldier Readiness
  • Looking Ahead to One World Terrain's Instrumental Role in Mission Execution
  • Accelerating Delivery of Permanent Navy Training Systems Worldwide
  • Delivering Present and Future Warfighting Capabilities to the Air Force Through M&S
  • Ensuring Warfighter Focused Training to Enhance MAGTF Lethality
  • Producing Top Space, Cyber, and Intel Warfighters Through Innovative and Collaborative Training
  • Utilizing Digital Twins to Transform Service Training

Why You Should Attend this Summit

The global Modeling and Simulation market is expected to surpass USD 21.4 billion by 2029. The use of virtual training to bolster militaries and defense capabilities has spread worldwide being used by both our allies and our adversaries. The DoD's highest priority is remaining committed to deterring an attack against the U.S., so in the yearly fiscal budgets, $14 billion or more per year is allocated to “synthetic” digital training - training that uses digital environments to teach and prepare personnel for real-life jobs and experiences. The 8th Annual Military Virtual Training and Simulation Summit will aim to advance synthetic training environments and modeling and simulation efforts to offer warfighters training solutions that replicate the complexities of the future multi-domain battlefield. The summit will explore how the development and integration of live, virtual, constructive training environments will promote the Warfighter's lethality, readiness, and ability to inter-operate across the Services and joint partners in multi-domain operations.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from, engage with, and ask questions of senior leaders from across the modeling and simulation community about how the DOD is developing and integrating hyper-realistic simulated training environments.  Speakers will examine efforts and benefits of developing a common operating environment and modern simulations that can link forces from around the world into real-time training exercises in a safe, secure, easy-to-use, and cost-effective manner. Additionally, attendees will hear from Combatant Commands and key acquisition authorities about critical digital technologies and systems being developed and integrated to create more interoperable, well prepared, and lethal joint forces. This year's panel will explore the development and utilization of digital twins in defense training for combat preparation and execution.

Join us at the 2025 Summit to hear from senior leaders from across DoD, military services, academia, and industry on how they are looking to modernize training solutions to maximize the operational capability of the Warfighter.  The 2025 Military Virtual Training & Simulation Summit will promote an open and honest dialogue centered around virtual training and simulation as the key to unlocking warfighter readiness, lethality, and ability to confront any enemy in any domain.

At our Summit you will have the ability to

  • Gain Education & Insight:  Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the complex challenges facing the Modeling and Simulation communities.
  • Build Partnerships: The agenda is designed to allow for ample networking opportunities and the ability to engage in constructive dialogue among all in attendance.
  • Influence: Help foster ideas! Share your own insight and knowledge during our interactive sessions. All attendees are encouraged to address our speaker faculty and each other with their questions, comments or ideas.
