Arctic Security Conference 2025

April 29-30, 2025 - Copenhagen, Denmark

Enhancing Capabilities to Combat Tomorrow's Arctic Threats

As climate change continues to create new trade and shipping routes in the Arctic, allies must reassess their approach to the region’s security to maintain their readiness to act in such a specialised environment. Arctic Security 2025 will bring together all key security stakeholders including the most senior strategic leaders from the Arctic states, allied nations, and NATO under one roof, for the timeliest discussion on securing the safety and security of the region.

The 2025 agenda will prioritise the key challenges and concerns of all security stakeholders in the Arctic region with emphasise on topics like: maintaining situational & environmental awareness, learning how to fight, operate and move in the region and building the right technology and equipment for the fight of the future. You can expect to hear updates from the latest exercises in the region and the newest training techniques for the arctic’s harsh weather conditions. Join this event to engage with Arctic and allied nations in building and maintaining effective collaborative partnerships for combating the encroaching military and commercial threat of enemy states in the Arctic.

What's New in 2025?

  • No Stakeholder Left Behind: The 2025 summit will build on the work of the first, going beyond military and government, we are inviting other security stakeholders, including but not limited to: border force, police, fisheries, environmentalists, oil and gas representatives. Hear from the stakeholders themselves on how arctic security is everybody’s business.
  • More representation from policy makers and government from across the Arctic regions for an environment which encourages high level collaboration for high level solutions to ensure the stability and security of the region.
  • Updates on the latest Arctic exercises of 2024 like Steadfast Defender 24 & Arctic Edge and the lessons learned for securing the region in the future.

What to expect from Arctic Security 2025:

  • Hear from on the ground Arctic Commands who have been working in these harsh weather conditions and learn from the experts actively solving key challenges.
  • Listen as experts highlight the latest developments in the ever-shifting geopolitics of the region with the encroaching commercial and military presence of enemy states.
  • Get updates on the latest cold-weather Arctic exercises, including Nordic Response 24 and Arctic Shock, to discover key observations, lessons learned, and how these can be applied to future operations.
  • Hear about upcoming requirements from Arctic states and their procurement plans and programs as the need for cold weather capable kit and equipment increases and the Arctic region continues to grow in importance for these nations.
  • Build lasting collaborative partnerships and connections with senior military leaders and industry partners from across Arctic and allied nations for effective deterrence capabilities.
