The 2nd Annual
FutureG for Defense Summit will bring together DoD, Federal Government, Industry & Academic leaders in a 'Town-Hall' style event to detail various initiatives surrounding 5G and wireless networking technologies. This must-attend two-day event seeks to discuss the objectives and goals around the adoption of groundbreaking commercial 5G and the future generations of network technology (NextG) in support of Warfighter. 5G offers faster speeds, and more bandwidth, and can support increasingly demanding technology like Artificial Intelligence, making its implementation critical.
Topics To Be Covered
- Harnessing the Power of 5G and FutureG Capabilities to Modernize DoD Information Networks
- Preparing for the Next Generation of Wireless Network Technologies Across DoD
- Driving NTIA Initiatives Towards Enabling Global Wireless Supply Chain Interoperability
- Integrating 5G Capabilities for the Future Soldier
- Expanding Innovative Spectrum Sharing Frameworks
- Deploying 5G in Naval Ship Environment's to Improve Fleet Connectivity
Why You Should Attend this Year's Summit
The implementation of 5G and NextG is crucial to ensure U.S. technological power and was designated as one of fourteen critical technology areas by OUSD R&E. Over $650 million has been put into the implementation of 5G and Next-generation wireless technology by the DoD. Commercial telecommunication companies spend an estimated $100 billion a year on research and development. To stay at the tactical edge, greater cooperation between both the private sector and the government is critical to integrating 5G and FutureG capabilities. Bridging this gap between government and industry is a major priority for the DoD.
Attendees will be given the opportunity to hear and engage firsthand with critical decision-makers from the telecommunications industry. Senior leaders at this event will address various initiatives such as developing open radio networks (O-RAN) to promote interoperability across the military services as well as feature a panel highlighting the growing partnerships between public and private sectors to help bridge the 5G gap. This summit will also offer attendees insight into the development of next-generation network technologies to help lay the groundwork for a modernized network and improved connectivity in future military operations.
Join us at our 2nd Annual
FutureG for Defense Summit to interact with and hear from crucial senior leaders from the DoD, military services, academia, and industry on how next-generation network capabilities can be implemented to enhance mission capabilities. This town hall-style event will promote open and honest dialogue around next-generation wireless technology and the critical efforts going towards better connecting our Warfighter.
