"Improving Energy Efficiencies, Decarbonization, and Resiliency in the Large Built Environment"
The 5th Annual
Facilities & Campus Energy Summit is designed to provide an interchange of in-depth knowledge and serve as a catalyst for collaboration across large built environments that do not necessarily engage one another on a daily basis but all share the common goals of:
Improving strategic planning and technical operations to support decarbonization and electrification, and increasing overall energy efficiencies and cost savings, reliability, and resiliency, in a financially sustainable manner. These sectors include but are not limited to:
Higher Education, Hospitals and Healthcare Systems, and Federal Facilities
The highly curated two-day agenda offers over 5 senior level panels, 8 plenary sessions (no tracks!), and 5 hours of dedicated networking and live technology and solution demonstrations onsite.
Key Topics of Discussion Include:
Financing, Design, and Operational Strategies- C-suite perspective on evolving financing models and long term capital planning to support the energy and sustainability goals while also fostering a financially sustainable future
- Current private and public financing mechanisms to support energy efficiency and sustainability projects for campuses and large facilities: who's funding what and how?
- Determining the attributes and capabilities of design and construction services for electrification / net-zero buildings while meeting key requirements of resilience, power quality and economy
- Advice from the C-suite: how facility teams, stakeholders and sustainability officers can present their recommendations and projects to us to help us understand the long-term implications of investing (or not) in projects
- What are the various metrics and data driven capabilities we need to help better enable full analysis and inform us of the intended and current performance of our sites
Technologies and Solutions:- Advancements in microgrid configurations, storage systems, and onsite generation options to meet resiliency and decarbonization goals
- Pilots and current research in small modular nuclear reactors on campuses and DoD installations
- Electrification: current case studies and systems approach to consider
- Thermal transfer systems
- Digital solutions to support make existing buildings “smarter” in an evolving IoT and AI driven landscape to improve energy efficiencies, reduce costs, support daily O&M and reporting metrics ... and much more!
At Our Summit You Will Have the Ability to:
- Gain Education & Insight: For facility and campus energy stakeholders, you will walk away with knowledge gained from our senior-level speakers and attendees to help you improve the efficiency, resiliency and sustainability of your built environment. For industry innovators, you will walk away with a deep understanding of the current challenges, needs, and initiatives across a variety of stakeholders from federal, state, and private sectors, and learn about where you solution or service may be best applied.
- Build Partnerships: The Facilities & Campus Energy North America Summit is designed to bring together a variety of stakeholders from across multiple sectors in order to allow to network with and forge partnerships with persons you may not have necessarily had to the opportunity to engage with yet. You will also have the ability discover the latest technologies and trends driving the energy market for facilities and campuses across the Nation during our ample networking time throughout both days.
- Influence: Share your own insight and knowledge during our interactive sessions. Designed as an interactive 'Town Hall' forum, all attendees are encouraged to engage in dialogue and discussion with each other and the speakers during each session.
