Why You Should Attend This Summit
DoD is placing significant emphasis on expanding the development and deployment of loitering munitions systems across battle spaces. Loitering munitions are projected to propel the military unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) market to $18 billion by 2033. Widely recognized for their role in the Ukraine conflict, these kamikaze-style drones are being adopted by militaries around the world—including the U.S., which is advancing drone swarm capabilities through its Replicator Initiative to overwhelm adversaries at scale. The Loitering Munitions for Defense Summit will spotlight how the DoD and Military Services are advancing loitering munitions systems through key efforts such as the LASSO program, the Launched Effects program, the Organic Precision Fires program, and other critical technology development pipelines that aim to deliver future autonomous and precision strike capabilities.
This year’s Summit will bring together senior leaders from the DoD, Military Services, Industry, and Academia who are driving the integration of loitering munitions into both offensive and defensive operations. Attendees will gain valuable insight through panel discussions focused on topics such as loitering munitions testing and evaluation, use cases for fixed-wing versus VTOL platforms, current conflicts and the strategic advantages of utilizing loitering munitions, and forward-looking innovation in loitering munition technologies. The forum will also explore the evolving challenges, opportunities, and battlefield applications of drone-enabled technologies. Participants of the Loitering Munitions for Defense Summit will have a unique opportunity to engage directly with key decision-makers, subject matter experts, and solution providers to help accelerate the development and fielding of loitering munitions systems—enhancing warfighter lethality and readiness for the future fight.
The team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summit’s content and focus areas. We will assemble the most respected minds in the Loitering Munitions community, including DoD, federal, and industry. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
