Stirling Cryogenic Site Visit - Edison Zinasco Plant
On Tuesday the 24th of March 2026 a limited number of conference delegates will have the unique opportunity to visit the Edison, Zinasco (Pavia) plant.
The Edison Zinasco (Pavia) plant is located an hour and half drive from Turin and produces 4,000,000 Nm3 of biogas per year from the treatment of 30,000 ton of household waste. Stirling Cryogenics together with sister company Hysytech have supplied a plant for the purification and liquefaction of the biogas. It has been in operation since 2023 and is a good example for a technically and economically project of small scale liquefaction.
There is no extra charge to join the site visit, although the number of places are limited and allocated to the conference delegates on a first come first serve basis. Transportation to the site will be organised by ACI and will depart from the venue (TBA)
Please note all requests are subject to final approval by the site owner
