Military Virtual Training & Simulation Summit 2026

January 28-29, 2026 - Orlando, FL, United States

The Official Military Virtual Training and Simulation Event

The 9th Annual Military Virtual Training & Simulation Summit will convene leaders from the DoW, Military Services, Federal Government, industry, academia, and other stakeholders to discuss the evolving future of modeling, simulation, and synthetic training. The summit will provide a forum for advancing technologies and strategies that ensure Warfighters and decision-makers remain trained, ready, and lethal for the future fight. The 2026 VT&S Summit will aid in advancing the DoW’s ability to deliver synthetic environments that provide hyper-realistic training scenarios to enhance warfighter readiness, enable lethality, and enforce battlefield cohesion across the services at all echelons, in all domains.

Topics to be Covered

  • Harnessing AI and Machine Learning Through Technology Innovation for Accelerated Joint Force Readiness
  • Delivering Next-Gen Technologies for Advanced Army Training and Readiness
  • Transforming Battlefield Care with Immersive Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training Technologies
  • Leveraging Drone Technology for Multi-Domain Training Readiness
  • Facilitating Air Force Readiness and Lethality Through Groundbreaking M&S Capabilities
  • Accelerating Naval Readiness Through Innovative Training Solutions
  • Preparing the Space Force to Operate Amid Heightened Threats Through Advanced Digital Training
  • Advancing Warfighter Lethality and Scenario-Based Learning Through Virtual Wargames

Why You Should Attend this Summit

The global Modeling and Simulation (M&S) market is projected to exceed USD 21.4 billion by 2029, with virtual training becoming a critical element of defense strategies employed by both allies and adversaries. The Department of War (DoW) continues to prioritize deterrence against U.S. adversaries, allocating more than $14 billion annually toward “synthetic” digital training environments that provide personnel with immersive and secure platforms for developing real-world readiness. The 9th Annual Military Virtual Training & Simulation Summit will bring together senior leaders from DoW, the Services, Federal Government, industry, and academia to advance the future of synthetic training environments and simulation technologies.

The 2026 Summit will emphasize how live, virtual, and constructive training capabilities are being integrated to create hyper-realistic scenarios that strengthen decision-making under pressure, enhance interoperability across services, and improve overall lethality in multi-domain operations. This year’s discussions will highlight the rapid incorporation of artificial intelligence and machine learning into training systems, the use of immersive technologies to transform battlefield care and trauma response, the development of advanced digital solutions to prepare the Space Force for emerging threats, the integration of drones into scalable training environments, and the evolution of virtual wargames as tools for strategic planning and operational experimentation.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with senior officials, Combatant Commands, acquisition leaders, and technology innovators who are shaping the modeling and simulation enterprise. Dialogue will center on building interoperable training solutions, developing common operating environments, and expanding the use of digital twins to ensure U.S. forces remain prepared for future conflicts.

The 2026 Military Virtual Training & Simulation Summit will serve as a venue for open, informed dialogue on how the DoW and its partners are modernizing training to maximize readiness and lethality. By showcasing advancements across the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force, the event underscores how joint and coalition collaboration, combined with cutting-edge simulation capabilities, will enable U.S. forces to maintain superiority and prevail against any adversary in any domain.

At our Summit you will have the ability to

  • Gain Education & Insight: Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the complex challenges facing the Modeling and Simulation communities.
  • Build Partnerships: The agenda is designed to allow for ample networking opportunities and the ability to engage in constructive dialogue among all in attendance.
  • Influence: Help foster ideas! Share your own insight and knowledge during our interactive sessions. All attendees are encouraged to address our speaker faculty and each other with their questions, comments or ideas.
