Past event: AI in Energy Summit 2026

Augment your Workforce, Maximize Asset Performance and Power Intelligent Operations

With the rapid pace of innovation in AI, energy and utilities leaders face a critical question: How do we invest in AI today without being left behind tomorrow? With AI capabilities doubling every 6–10 months, the risk of technological obsolescence is real and costly. Poorly chosen initiatives can lead to mounting technical debt, draining resources from high-value opportunities and delaying ROI in markets where every dollar must count.

Every year, the AI in Energy Summit brings together 200 senior operations, digital, data, and AI leaders from utilities, oil and gas, power generation and renewables for three days in Houston - the heart of energy innovation.

This isn't just another AI conference. It's where the real-world meets real results. Join your peers and:
  • Hear directly from operators who've taken AI projects from proof of concept to full deployment
  • Learn how to clean, structure, and govern data to make it AI-ready
  • Align AI with business goals, prioritizing projects, and overcoming resistance to change
  • Discover what's actually working in GenAI, ML Ops, Agentic AI, Digital Twins, and real-time decision support
  • Dive into 22+ operator-led case studies that showcase proven AI applications in asset optimization, predictive maintenance, emissions reduction, and supply chain efficiency
If you're responsible for leveraging AI in your operations, this is the event for you.

Join your peers and learn how to:

  • Manage AI Investment: Keep up with the rapidly evolving AI landscape, accelerate ROI and avoid tech debt by learning how to prioritize AI initiatives and evaluate their value and resilience to change.
  • Amplify Your Workforce: Discover how to leverage Agentic AI to forecast talent gaps, reduce bottlenecks, model workforce scenarios, and make smarter, safer, faster decisions at the frontline.
  • Drive Decisions with Data: Learn how to turn pilots into enterprise-wide success and turn AI into a strategic advantage with advanced analytics.
  • Revolutionize Asset Performance: Explore how to maximize production capabilities and predict, prioritize, and prevent equipment failures with the use of Machine Learning, Edge AI and Computer Vision.
  • Optimize Processes: Gain insights to enhance enterprise-wide efficiency and capitalize opportunities to reduce costs by revealing business inefficiencies with Generative and Agentic AI.
  • Move from Strategy to Execution: Discover how your peers are securing leadership support and building an AI roadmap that aligns with evolving business needs, operational realities, and sustainability goals.

I was very impressed with the organization, the content and the vendors in the conference expo area. We were able to catch up with industry peers, deep dive on topics with our existing vendors, and be inspired by the new technology solutions offered.

I thought the event provided some key bullets that I can bring back to my leadership team as focal points and considerations as we progress in our digitalization journey.
