Past event: UAV Payloads Conference

What most limits UAV capabilities? The platform, or the payload?

Recognizing the shift towards a 'payload first approach' it can be seen the platform is the enabler and the payload provides the mission set.

With UAVs taking on a much more significant role in ISTAR and offensive air operations, payload technology is being driven to offer sharper, stronger and more autonomous solutions without the extra burden of weight and size.

We are delighted to announce the launch of our UAV Payloads event-taking place on the 24rd-25th June in London.

Dedicated exclusively to exploring UAV payloads, the conference will focus upon SIGINT/EW, EO/IR and SAR systems for tactical, MALE and HALE vehicles alongside discussions on the weaponisation of UAVs. Also to be considered will be the need to meet the shortcomings in communication and data feeds to support the development of detection and avoidance technology.

At UAV Payloads 2014, you will:

  • Be a part of the only payloads focused UAV forum creating the direct link between UAV operators and payload industry
  • Gain insight into the current capabilities and requirements of UAV squadrons from across Europe and the US and see how you could be a part of their strategy for advancing UAV mission sets
  • Discover the latest UAV payload technology and solutions on the market to better instruct your own product development or procurement plans
