Past event: LTE Congress

Consumer migration to 4G-LTE is happening considerably faster than earlier migrations from 2G to 3G.  LTE users are consuming upwards of 1.5GB of data per month – creating a raft of innovative mobile data services that are moving the market beyond the zeitgeist into everyday user expectation.

With these opportunities, come a whole host of challenges for network operators.  Challenges including the need to ensure that infrastructure can cope with increased data demands, the need to effectively market innovation to an expectant user base and most importantly the need to ensure a return on these network upgrades and innovative new services.

In response to this, our LTE Congress will provide a unique opportunity for technical thought leaders from the European and MENA regions to network and benchmark their operations and learn of the latest technical and business developments in the LTE arena.

Key questions answered will include:

  • What will a ‘networked society’ look like? What network infrastructure is needed to allow it to happen?
  • How can you ensure there is sufficient spectrum to keep pace with innovation in the wireless economy?
  • How can you leverage LTE uptake as part of mobile data monetisation strategies?
  • How can you effectively market LTE-A advancements to ensure an ROI?

What’s New For 2015?

  • Intelligent Networking:  Benefit from Intelligent Networking sessions, bringing together technical experts from operators across the globe, who will lead intimate discussion groups with the delegates. These faciliated discussions will allow participants to share ideas away from the hustle and bustle of the standard conference environment. Key action points from the Intelligent Networking sessions will be shared with attendees after the event.
  • M2M and IoT Agenda Focus:  A special focus on the burgeoning machine-to-machine communications market, including business user case studies highlighting market needs and technical requirements.
  • Near-fi Interactive Sessions: There will be a second series of discussions on near-fi industry developments, moving beyond current disrupters into those affecting the industry in the coming years – including:
    • - The Internet of ThingsAugmented realities
    • - Drones and other machine-to-machine interfaces
  • 5G Take-off Workshop: Take part in the first interactive workshop to look at how you can enable 5G.  Discover how to support the huge capacity and connectivity needed to support increasingly diverse services, applications and users.
