Past event: Smarter Borders Conference

Interoperability at the border: Bridging silos to build a connected border management system

The developing trends in migration across Europe and indeed the world, mean that there has never been a better time to stage the Smarter Borders conference. With the increasing flows of (would-be) fighters to-and-from the Middle East, the dramatic scenes in the Mediterranean and the rise in people trafficking across the South East Asian region, the challenges to those charged with controlling the borders of our nations have never been so stiff. Therefore it is vital that policymakers and private companies gather to discuss how they will meet these burgeoning problems both now and in the near future.

Taking part in the conference this November will enable attendees to:

  • Achieve more streamlined and efficient data capture and exchange process, in order to enhance your border security and reduce your operational costs
  • Understand how to align your future policy and offerings by hearing from senior regulators and politicians across the EU and beyond
  • Learn how to be part of the projects building towards an ‘international’ method of border management
