Welcome to the 12th Annual ‘Military Flight Training’ Summit

Over the last 12 years ‘Military Flight Training’ has become the community’s annual general meeting place, bringing together Commanders of Air Training, Heads of Air Procurement, and Operational Trainers from across the globe to discuss the challenges and successes shaping military flight training for now and the future. In doing so it provides a rare platform to share lessons learned and best practice in current military flight training requirements, capabilities and programmes, engaging in international collaboration on a very real level with key allies, strengthening messages of cooperation with counterparts across the world.

What's new for 2013?

In order to ensure Military Flight Training continues to maintain its status as the community’s conference, each year it adapts the needs and demands of the community itself. 2013 is no different, we are very excited for what we have in store:

New Theme:
Following the success of the 2012 summit’s focus on the flight training 2020+, we decided to give the 2013 event a new flavour. For the 1st time Military Flight Training will have an overarching theme of ‘Training in an Emerging Market’ making it the most international conference to date. For the 1st time the conference will have insight from all 4 corners of the globe with presentations from such nations as the UAE Air Force, Iraqi Air Force, Brazilian Air Force and Australian Army.

New Focus Day:
Quite simply you asked for it and we delivered! Military Flight Training will launch its first ever ‘Training for the Modern Rotary Aviator’ Focus Day. Providing delegates with an insight into the latest training regimes, procurement programmes and technological develops in the world of rotary training. The focus day gets to the very soul of the issues that affect you on a daily basis. With presentations delivered by Emerged and Emerging Nations, at no other time will you obtain such a deep insight from the decision makers that really matter.

New Industry Panel Discussion:
Integral to any successful flight training capability is a process of collaboration and development with major industry providers. Military Flight Training recognises this and will feature a panel discussion dedicated to the strategic thinking shaping the future of the defence industry from the leading defence organizations in the sector.
