Overview

We are organising Cyber Sec Asia Forum: A Threat to Critical National Infrastructure, taking place in Singapore on the 3rd and 4th December 2012. The conference and exhibition and will bring together experts, end users, policymakers, industry and procurement staff.

The event, which will be followed by a half-day training focused work shop, will focus upon the cyber challenges facing Critical National Information Infrastructure; this is a business strategy event that will be attended by key decision-makers across the CNI arena. It will focus on the practical aspects of secure information infrastructure delivery & the need for the radical improvement of resilience.

The Forum will encourage participants to explore the most up-to-date information for government and industry professionals, the platform will offer CEOs, industry leaders, managers, and government & security representatives to exchange ideas on information technology trends and industry best practice. The event will also take a closer look on how to respond more efficiently to the threat of cyber-attacks and discuss information infrastructure requirements across industry & the public sector.


Program

Cyber Sec Forum Asia is a business strategy event that will be attended by key decision-makers across the CNI arena. It will focus on the practical aspects of secure information infrastructure delivery & the need for the radical improvement of resilience.

  • Monday 3rd December - Conference and industry exhibition opens followed by a networking drinks reception open to all attendees
  • Tuesday 4th December - Half-day training focused WorkShop focusing upon the cyber challenges facing Critical National Information Infrastructure

The one day conference will feature high level speakers from organizations including the Australian Government, Kaspersky Labs, Asia-Pacific Cyberlaw, Cybercrime and Internet Security Institute, CyberSecurity Malaysia, Pakistan Information Security Association, Interpol and the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA). Panel discussions will focus on "Where Does the Responsibility for Securing Cyberspace Fit?" and "Why Have we Not yet Seen Wide-Spread Cyber Terrorism; is it a Myth?".

An industry leading exhibition will run parallel to the conference where companies will showcase their latest technologies and solutions for the Cyber Security community.
