Past event: Armoured Vehicles Asia 2013 Conference

Welcome to Armoured Vehicles Asia

As military spending and procurement on armoured vehicles continue to steadily grow in Asia, there is an increasing need to address the challenges in modernisation and capability development programmes. Asian militaries have taken a three-pronged approach for armoured vehicle procurement—foreign acquisition of modern platforms, refurbishment and upgrading of existing armoured fleets, and indigenous R&D technology and industry development. These steps however, are not without their existing set of challenges and issues.

The 6th Annual Armoured Vehicles Asia 2013 conference will create a high-level platform to address these challenges, including:

  • Armour requirements and procurement processes
  • Enhancing Survivability and Protection
  • Improving Vehicle Mobility and Firepower
  • Integrating C4I Networks and Systems into Armoured Vehicles
  • Capability development for armoured vehicles to improve overall mission effectiveness
  • Providing operational case studies and experiences of armoured vehicles in battlefield operations

Armoured Vehicles Asia 2013 is a part of our highly successful International Armoured Vehicles Series, dedicated and specially contextualised to the region. Our event offers the perfect platform for high-level, senior key decision makers from the military to interact and meet with international counterparts and industry stakeholders. Strategies and best practices will be shared and unique experiences will be presented.

“Armoured Vehicles Asia will address the latest in a long list of challenges and strategies used for new vehicle design and procurement as well as the enhancement of existing vehicle capabilities; the conference is sure to present numerous opportunities to share valuable lessons among a mass of interested parties”.
