We are delighted to announce the launch of the inaugural Anti-Submarine Warfare Conference
Europe's ONLY dedicated ASW event will be held on 19th – 21st March 2013 in LondonAs modern submarines are becoming increasingly hard to detect, the challenge for all international navies is to improve their littoral detection capabilities before the art of ASW becomes obsolete.
Building on the success of our Underwater Battlespace and Submarine Operations events, Anti-Submarine Warfare 2013 will bring together the underwater, surface and aerial elements of ASW to explore how cooperation between the three can be developed to create a 21st century ASW Force capable of fighting back in the battle to detect modern submarines.
Highlights of Anti-Submarine Warfare 2013 include:
- Creating viable underwater sensor networks, particularly in littoral waters
- Developing information and data links between underwater, surface and aerial units
- Establishing Command and Control for multi-force ASW
- Building interoperable, multi-nation ASW cooperation
