Past event: Military Flight Training USA 2016 Conference

Shaping The US Military Flight Training Community Through Industry & International Engagement

The US Armed Forces are on the cusp of revolutionizing the military flight training sector for decades to come. With the final T-X Request For Proposal to be released early December, the acquisition of the Navy's TH-57 replacement training system heating up, alongside the fast approaching F-35 IOC, never has one community faced so many defining moments in such a short space of time.

To guide the community through these critical challenges and opportunities, Military Flight Training USA 2016 has been working alongside leaders from the US Armed Forces and industry to deliver a critical forum to shape the domestic and international community for the current dynamic world and into the future.

The event will provide 150 Secretaries, Chiefs of Staff, Commanders of Air Training, Heads of Air Procurement and Industry Executives from the US, F-35 partners and wider allies the rare opportunity to share best practice, recommendations for greater collaboration with military and industry partners and updates on the upcoming T-X and TH-57 programs alongside other training priorities and modernizations.

Filling the void left by the dissolution of the Air Education & Training Symposium, MFT USA 2016's three core themes were selected to get to the very heart of the challenges faced:
  • Innovation In Training In Fifth-Generation Aircraft through revolutionary F-35 and F-22 training systems, polices, plans and practices
  • Innovation In Pilot Training through extensive downloading and offloading across the training program combined with the establishment of an LVC roadmap
  • Innovation in Rotary & Multi Engine Training through cost effective training systems created by advanced simulation fidelity, skills based training and operational training and mission readiness
