Annually, falls among older adults are responsible for more than 20,000 deaths, 2.4 million emergency department visits, and more than $30 billion in direct medical costs. Furthermore, each year somewhere between 700,000 & 1,000,000 people in the U.S. fall in the hospital setting.

By attending the National Falls Prevention Conference you'll join the leaders in this field helping to the tackle the challenges of Falls Prevention. This nationally collaborative program is designed to provide a platform for building on best practices across all sectors of the health care system, to prevent falls and fall related injuries in hospitals, home health, and long term care organizations nation wide.
