The return to peer threat engagement has placed a new emphasis on the military support structure, with a renewed emphasis on maintaining mobility and operational freedom placing new pressure on the
combat support commander.
Bringing together the previous
Military Engineering and Defence Logistics events, the combined
Combat Support Week programme will address the new challenges to both logistics and engineering commanders to ensure mobility and capability is maintained within the combat force. Assessing the critical requirements of combat engineers and military logisticians to deploy and maintain the force in theatre, the programme will focus on enabling mobility, momentum and capability by identifying innovative, cost-efficient solutions to modernise operational capabilities such as robotic and autonomous systems in the supply chain, mobility enablers through new innovative bridging systems, and new infrastructural developments to sustain the force.
Recognising the emerging technical requirements in the
combat support the conference will enable attendees to revolutionize their capabilities in line with modern operating conditions.
