Today’s Warfighter is challenged with adapting to ever-evolving environments requiring advanced equipment to increase energy efficiency, survivability, lethality, mobility and situational awareness as well as lightening the load. As a result, government and industry strive to develop and field technological innovations for troops, in order to maintain momentum and combat overmatch on the battlefield. Manufacturers of military equipment and technology rely on crucial feedback from soldiers to identify and close equipment and technology gaps for future innovations.
Hosted at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Military Equipment and Technology Expo will provide insight into the immediate needs of the Warfighter. The event will bring over 1500 JBLM military personnel together with leaders in the defense industry to jointly strategize and ascertain ways to ensure Warfighters and airlift personnel have the equipment necessary to effectively operate in today’s evolving landscape. Key decision makers and top-notch innovators responsible for producing battle-ready warfighters will come together to collaborate on how to maximize defense equipment capabilities.
