Past event: Future Artillery 2022 Conference

Taking Firepower Forward

Welcome to the 2022 Future Artillery Forum, the world’s longest-running and most prestigious conference on indirect fires.

Focused on leading-edge research in defence and security in the heart of Europe, we are delighted to partner with the French-German Research Institute of Saint-Louis (ISL), a bi-national research institute jointly operated by the French Defence Innovation Agency (AID) and the German Ministry of Defence.

Taking place over three days, Future Artillery 2022 will explore the current and future battlespace, disruptive innovation, as well as ground-breaking research and development. The event will foster an environment of collaboration, providing an opportunity to engage in interactive discussions and high-level debates with allies across and beyond NATO.

We hope you can join us in Saint-Louis from 23 - 25 May 2022!

Benefits of Attending:

  • Deliver digitisation, network and cyber resilience for next-generation fires
  • Accelerate the artillery force training enterprise to support the application of joint fires in a multi-domain context
  • Integrate UAVs as a vital forward observer for future joint fires
  • Enhance connectivity between the artillery force commander and the ISTAR force commander to improve situational awareness, target acquisition and damage assessment
  • Develop a joint fires and counter-fires doctrine which can support artillery as a vital enabler for the future joint fight in the contested and A2/AD environment
