SDR Europe 2012 Conference
Secure, Scalable, Interoperable Software Defined Radios: The Future of Coalition Communications

4 December, 2012 - 6 December, 2012, Madrid, Spain

SDR Europe 2012: Showcasing software defined radio developments from Europe and North America at the 11th annual summit in December 2012

The 11th annual Software Defined Radio conference returns with a fresh speaker faculty and a brand new location in Madrid where the Spanish MoD will be highlighting the latest developments in their SDR program.

SDR Europe 2012 will showcase senior level decision makers from Spain, Italy, Finland, Canada and the US currently exploring ways of developing and maintaining their SDR programmes at a time when the need to network the tactical level warfighter has never been greater.

SDR Europe: Continuing to drive intelligent debate and solutions after over 10 years

From London to Paris, Rome, Amsterdam and now to Madrid, SDR Europe has led the way in providing the podium of choice for military communications experts. Each year the world’s leading military SDR officials come together at the event to impart a global audience with their independent feedback on how they are developing their software defined radio capabilities, the challenges they face and their future requirements for secure, scalable and interoperable SDR capabilities.

As SDR capabilities have evolved, so to has the SDR Europe series. New focus has been cast on HDFWs, cognitive networking, smart spectrum sharing, airborne and naval SDR capabilities and the views of emerging markets in Eastern Europe on the benefits an SDR capability would bring to their armed forces.

Don’t miss out - attending SDR Europe 2012 will enable you to:

  • Be part of Europe’s leading military led software defined radio symposium giving you the chance to evaluate the future direction of military communications systems
  • Improve your knowledge of how SDR and legacy systems will work together during future multinational operations
  • Garner the latest thinking of emerging markets as they begin to consider the future adoption of SDR systems
  • Increase your knowledge of how SDR platforms will change combat techniques in the multinational environment
  • Assess the effects the growing adoption of handheld devices by the tactical warfighter will have on the future development SDR systems
  • Learn how nations are overcoming the challenges impeding the employment of their SDR program and how these lessons learned can be implemented into your SDR initiatives
