Past event: Global LNG Bunkering Summit 2023

Driving the Decarbonisation and Sustainability of the Global Shipping Industry

In 2023, we’re delighted to mark our first decade by growing the world’s most established LNG Bunkering gathering to incorporate discussion of other future fuels. The LNG Bunkering & Future Fuel Global Summit 2023 will run 23rd-25th May 2023 at EXPO Greater Amsterdam.

This is our 10th edition and our biggest to date. After an eventful year (to say the least), the discussions will focus on LNG, BIO/Synthetic/E-LNG and the early development of Ammonia, Methanol and Hydrogen. We are delighted to have some fabulous sponsors and speakers on board, including our Official Host Partner, TotalEnergies.

As the market-leading event for those committed to the decarbonisation of the global maritime industry, the Summit is renowned for connecting the entire industry; ship owners/operators, ports, terminals, O&G providers, financiers, classicisation societies, engineers and more.

Our Top 6 Themes for 2023:

  • SHIPPING OPERATORS - PLANS FOR THE DECADE AHEAD: Hear directly from the executive leadership of world-leading shipping operators and charterers - including Hapag-Lloyd, Tata Steel Group, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, CorsicaLinea and Baleària - and apply their experience to guide your future fuelling decisions
  • THE VIABILITY OF FUTURE FUELS: Discover cutting-edge insights into LNG innovation and alternative, low or no carbon fuels such as Ammonia, Hydrogen and Methanol and assess their comparative viability with help from TotalEnergies, SGMF, DNV, Bureau Veritas and SEA-LNG
  • GROUND-BREAKING TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENTS: Gain exclusive insights into plans for new clean energy bunkering hubs in the Mediterranean, Central Europe and North America and explore the new technological innovations – with help from Wartsila, Trelleborg and Nikkiso - that are enabling that expansion.
  • THE DECABONISATION PATHWAY OF THE LNG FAMILY OF FUELS: Develop an understanding of the latest innovations in the supply of LNG and BIO/Synthetic/E LNG with perspectives from those leading the way in producing and using such clean future fuels such as TotalEnergies, TITAN and UECC
  • ADAPTING TO REGULATION: Hear from those who have been involved on the front line of policy-making such as GIE and Members of European Parliament and understand how to interpret regulation and guidelines for the sector as you make more informed long-term decisions for your organization
  • HOW TO SECURE INVESTMENTS: Walk away with expert guidance on financing mechanisms. Understand how to build the business case and increase stakeholder appetite for investment and future-proof your maritime projects
