As nations around the world prioritise their dismounted soldier capabilities, as part of their ongoing military modernisation efforts, International Dismounted Soldier (IDS) 2023 will tackle the light forces community's highest priorities in enhancing their dismounted soldier capabilities; engaging with a diverse range of experts, senior military professionals, and industry representatives to ensure a comprehensive and informative discussion on the latest trends, challenges, and advancements in the field of dismounted soldier operations.
Coming at a critical time, when peer-on-peer conflict is increasingly likely and the benefits of fully utilising light forces is being seen more often in recent conflict, NEW for this year, the second annual International Dismounted Soldier conference will feature increased emphasis on delivering training to meet current threats, developments in doctrine, such as the Land Operating Concept 2030, and an increased international speaker faculty.
