Past event: Methane Mitigation America 2023 Summit

North Americas Largest Summit on Measuring, Monitoring and Mitigating Methane Emissions

It is anticipated that this year's COP 28 will focus on reducing methane emissions, with the conference president already calling for the global oil and gas industry to phase out emissions by 2030. With the EPA also issuing its supplemental proposal for the regulation of methane emissions from new and existing wells, and a new initiative aimed at curbing emissions from venting or equipment failures, it is now imperative that the US oil and gas industry come together to identify new ways to identify, measure, monitor and reduce emissions cross their operations.

Methane Mitigation America is taking place December 5-7, 2023 and will bring together over 300 senior oil and gas leaders to discuss how to drive down emissions across their operations and show leadership in responsible energy production. Join your peers to cover:
  • Responding to investor requirements on methane reporting
  • Navigating upcoming EPA regulations and IRA rules on methane reduction and waste emission charges
  • Implementing a preventive maintenance and repair program
  • Emissions reconciliation to manage top-down and bottom-up inventories
  • Developing a carbon divestiture and acquisition protocol
  • How to maximize the potential of leak detection and repair programs
  • Super-emitter rapid response programs from satellite detections
  • Enhancing your national greenhouse gas inventories and improving quality to enable better assessment of emission sources
  • What technology works for your organization, based on specific assets, needs, geography, and financial partnerships
  • Integrating methane emissions reduction into operational planning
  • How to turn methane emissions data into actionable insights

Site Tour: NET Power's Utility Scale Project

We are pleased to announce a site tour to NET Power's Utility Scale Project! This project transforms natural gas into clean energy through their patented oxy-combustion process. During this tour you will experience how they combust natural gas with pure oxygen to produce CO2 and water. Limited to just 25 places! Learn more in the Event Guide.

The event was most well-prepared, comprehensive, pertinent event Ive attended in a long time!

Chevron

Have you ever been in a room full of humans all focused on understanding and mitigating methane in the energy space? I have…and it was spectacular. Communication is key to solving complex problems. Were in it together.

Director of Technical Sales, Project Canary

Attending an event like this is mission critical, to ensure that knowledge is exchanged between those that are trying to reduce their methane emissions - progress is going to be much slower than if we can accelerate knowledge exchange through events like this
