Join 200+ industry trailblazers, visionaries and game changers.

May 13-16, 2024 - Calgary, AB, Canada

We've Changed Our Name...

After 10 years as the Operational Excellence in Energy, Chemicals, and Resources Summit, the event is taking on a new name (Transformation in Energy). In 2024 we will expand on the last 10 years of success and focus on how energy companies can make fundamental shifts in their strategy, operating models and day-to-day operations in response to a period of fundamental change: facing decarbonization, digitization, decentralization and pressure on resources.

The energy sector is facing a period of transformative change. Addressing net-zero goals, decarbonization projects, rising energy demand, and the need to digitize quickly, all while maintaining day-to-day operations and minimizing disruption.

This year's Transformation in Energy summit will provide you with key insights and tools for navigating the complexities of transformation without compromising operational performance. The 2024 program expands on the success of our 10+ years serving Operational Excellence in Energy, Chemicals and Resources to ensure long term, embedded transformation. With a highly interactive agenda featuring over 30 industry- leading speakers through a range of keynotes, panels, workshops, and peer-led discussion groups, the 2024 summit will give you the skills to navigate the transformation of your organization's people, processes, and technology effectively, all while driving accelerating sustainability and maintaining your competitive advantage in a volatile market.

Key Themes for 2024 include:

  • Driving enterprise level transformation: Strategy, process, leadership and culture
  • Delivering transformation at scale while balancing short-term pressures and maintaining the integrity of operations
  • Thriving through disruption: Investing in your assets, infrastructure and people
  • Enhancing operational AND cultural innovation through a mixture of digital technologies and strategies
  • Maintaining trust during transformation - with employees, customers, investors, vendors and regulators
  • Identifying your company's distinctive capabilities and aligning them with your transformation goals
  • Organizational design and governance: What does successful transformation look like?
  • Planning for the operational and organizational impact of decarbonization and the sustainability agenda
