Implementation of ISO 62626 & SOTIF

Get Ready for a One-of-a-Kind Experience at At the Functional Safety Week 2024 in Berlin!

Until now, Functional Safety has always been a 'nice to have' concept. Today, ISO 26262 & SOTIF cannot be avoided. While ISO 26262 is reaching a certain level of maturity, new legislation is driving mandatory safety requirements, and autonomous driving, software-defined vehicles, and AI-based applications are introducing new challenges of ensuring safety with unparalleled levels of complexity.

SOTIF is also coming in thick and fast, and safety experts are on the cusp of decision making for the third edition of ISO 26262. According to one working group member, 'the link between ISO 26262 & SOTIF is the biggest and most hotly contested topic' being debated in the functional safety community right now. To prepare for the release of the third edition, OEMs, Tier-1 & Tier-2 suppliers are now looking for the next wave of guidance to successfully implement SOTIF, optimise ISO 26262 processes, and accommodate for changes in the automotive industry right now.

The 14th Annual Functional Safety Week 2024 has been designed in consultation with working group members & experts across the safety community to offer a practical approach to ensuring safety in an efficient and streamlined way. This year's agenda shifts the conversation from hardware-centric discussions to address evolving safety challenges of L3+ autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence & machine learning, open-source software, and software-defined vehicles.

We've just scratched the surface of what's in store for you at the Automotive Functional Safety Week 2024, coming to Berlin on 15th - 18th April, 2024. We're inviting senior functional safety professionals in charge of implementing ISO 26262 & SOTIF on component, system, and vehicle level to join us for four days of technical content, networking with new connections, peers & colleagues, and more discussion than ever before.
