Assured Logistics 2024 Summit

Securing Supply Chains and Operational Readiness with Defense Logistics

May 29-30, 2024 - National Harbor, MD, United States

The 3rd Annual Assured Logistics Summit will convene senior leaders across the DoD, military services, and industry to discuss strategies, policies, and innovations that will enable secure, resilient, and responsive military supply chains and logistics operations in support of the Warfighter. The 2024 Summit will explore how the DoD is keeping pace to strengthen and protect the supply chains, manufacturing capacity and logistics operations that sustain Warfighters amidst a challenging geo-political threat landscape.

Topics Covered at the Summit:

  • Strengthening Defense Logistics to Deliver Readiness and Lethality in Support of the Warfighter
  • Accelerating DoD Supply Chain Resiliency to Sustain Military Operations Around the World
  • Optimizing the Sustainment of the Warfighter to Ensure Readiness
  • Leveraging Emerging Technologies to Enable Logistics in Contested Environments
  • Assured Logistics in the Modern Battlefield: Army Strategies for Efficiency, Adaptability, and Autonomy
  • Preserving Logistical and Mobility Dominance to Project and Sustain the Joint Force
  • Enabling Greater Cooperation in Logistics Across Allies and Partners to Support Worldwide Operations

Why You Should Attend This Summit:

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the United States’ military shift toward the Indo Pacific region have put a heightened awareness and emphasis on the importance of logistics in sustaining Warfighters. The United States has benefitted from decades of largely uncontested logistics operations, but the character of war is changing. The United States must be prepared to fight and win in an environment in which access to key infrastructures such as waterways, ports, bridges, roads, airfields, and highways is disrupted, damaged, or nonexistent. Amidst an ever-increasingly complex geo-political threat landscape, DSI’s 3rd Annual Assured Logistics Summit will aim to strengthen deterrence by improving logistics and sustainment support across the DoD’s operations.

As the Department of Defense recognizes it can no longer rely on operations in uncontested logistics environments, this year’s Assured Logistics Summit will explore how each of the services are adapting their approaches to enable mobility and freedom of movement, deliver resources and equipment, and sustain Warfighter operations at the point of need. Further, attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from, engage with, and ask questions of senior leaders across the community how the DOD is developing and integrating strategies, policies, and doctrine that strengthen the security and resiliency of supply chains and improve efficiencies across logistics and transportation operations. Speakers will examine efforts and benefits of integrating emerging and advanced technologies like AI, predictive analytics, 3d printing, rechargeable batteries and autonomous technologies in reducing logistics demands, improving supply distribution, and providing power at the tactical edge.

This year’s Assured Logistics Summit will explore how to increase resiliency in supply chains, protect critical manufacturing operations, and enable mobility and freedom of movement when operating in austere, resourced-limited, contested logistics environments. Join us at the 2024 Summit to hear from senior leaders from across DoD, military services, academia, and industry on how they are looking to modernize logistics solutions to maximize the operational readiness and sustainment of the Warfighter.
