Modern Technology, Smarter Operations, Safe And More Secure Border
The United States and Mexico share the longest contiguous land border in the world—serving as both a vital economic corridor and a complex national security challenge. From facilitating billions of dollars in lawful trade to countering the growing threats of human trafficking, drug smuggling, unauthorized crossings, and more; U.S. border operations demand advanced, integrated, and adaptive technologies. As threats evolve and the operational landscape grows more complex, the need for modern infrastructure, interoperable systems, and field-driven innovation is more critical than ever.
With this mission in focus, the Institute for Defense and Government Advancement (IDGA) is proud to host our third annual
Border Technology Summit, taking place September 23–24, 2025, in San Diego, California. This year’s summit will convene over 250 senior leaders from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, state and local law enforcement, industry, and more; creating this premier forum.
The 2025
Border Technology Summit will spotlight the latest advancements in biometrics, non-intrusive inspection (NII), AI-powered surveillance, maritime domain awareness, and integrated border operations. Join us for two days of strategic dialogue, real-world case studies, and solution-oriented discussions that will shape the future of border security. We look forward to welcoming both returning and first-time attendees to this essential national security gathering.
