The 7th Annual DoD Energy and Power Summit is a 'Town-Hall' style forum that will bring together leaders and expert from across U.S. military services, DoD, federal government, & industry.  This event will explore the advancement of energy and power technologies to promote greater energy security, resiliency, and independence to meet the DoD's operational energy needs.

The Department of Defense is the single largest energy consumer in the United States and consumes approximately 76% of total federal energy consumption. This stems from the deployment of high advanced technological systems that require reliable and secure power to maintain mission readiness. There remains the critical need to fuel facilities, installations, platforms, weapon systems, equipment, and operations abroad and domestically. The DoD faces a great deal of challenges to achieve these objectives in an ever-changing threat landscape of advanced adversaries, natural disasters, aging infrastructure, and cyber-attacks. This year's iteration will explore the importance of unleashing American energy potential to power the Department of the Defense.
