Past event: Naval MRO

Welcome to Naval Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Middle East

Contemporary shipbuilding in the Middle East has resulted in a burgeoning demand for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of navies’, coast guards’, and police forces’ fleets. I am proud to be the Chairman and organiser for this seminal conference which will take place in Abu Dhabi on 3-5 June 2013.

The MRO market is becoming increasingly important for Middle East fleets, especially because of the increase of purchases of sophisticated vessels with modern combat suites and weapons systems.

Navies and coast guards are now looking for long term solutions to increase the lifecycle of their assets, looking towards holistic solutions which assist in the fast and reliable logistical supply of spares and parts, minimize downtime and ensure capabilities are maintained.

This conference will benefit anyone who is a naval logistician, engineer or senior officer looking to get the most out of legacy equipment and to prolong the future of new purchases.

Therefore, I invite you to browse this website and share the link with your friends and colleagues and consider joining the audience for this year’s Naval MRO summit in Abu Dhabi.

Yours sincerely

Rear Admiral Ahmed Al Sabab Al Teneiji
Chairman Naval MRO Middle East
Former Chief of Naval Forces, UAE
