Past event: Offshore Shutdowns and Turnarounds Conference

Based on the success of our existing Shutdowns and Turnarounds series, we are proud to launch Shutdowns and Turnarounds Offshore which will be held on the 25 – 26 November 2015 in Aberdeen.

The business stake for improving turnaround performance is high. Executing turnarounds that are competitive not only in terms of schedule perspective, but also in terms of cost is possible through strategic decisions that results in a well defined scope with a comprehensive execution plans.

The effective planning and execution of shutdowns and turnarounds is essential to maintain product levels and reduce loss of revenue for the oil & gas industry. Failure or improper planning prior to a shutdown or turnaround can lead to grave consequences for the organization.

The main challenge facing the UKCS includes: ageing assets; managing the asset within budget; maintaining key performance indicators (HSE, Cost, Quality, Schedule and Efficiency).

This event will focus specifically on Offshore Assets in the North Sea and discuss strategies that will help overcome project complexities associated with Shutdowns and Turnarounds.

The event will focus predominantly on the technical and engineering components of managing these projects and managing challenges surrounding labour, productivity, budgeting, safety and other operational hurdles.

What Learning Outcomes will the event provide?

The tailor-designed interactive sessions, case studies and workshops aim to provide the industry professionals with substantial information:
