On January 21, 2009, President Obama issued the White House Open Government Initiative aiming to provide American citizens an unprecedented level of government accessibility and transparency. Since then, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), in collaboration with the Federal Chief Technology Officer, have launched many programs promoting the President’s directive.
