Topic Background: SOF are elite military units with specialized training and equipment that can infiltrate hostile land, sea, or air territory to conduct a variety of often-classified operations. As threats to international security constantly evolve, so do the needs of the elite warriors tasked with defeating them. The SOF network is becoming more globalized than ever before. Leading the war against violent extremism, across the full spectrum of missions, SOF warriors pave the way for America and its allies to enjoy freedoms and security.
