Suzanne Palmer, President, Export Compliance Solutions, is a former licensing officer who served over 15 years with the State Department and has over 10 years of direct experience in the U.S. defense industry. Ms. Palmer combined this unique experience to found ECS, providing the best training and interpretation to successfully apply U.S. export control regulations and assist companies establish export compliance programs. Ms. Palmer speaks at conferences around the world, has served on the Defense Trade Advisory Group (DTAG) and was appointed as a Special Compliance Officer (SCO) for a company operating under a Consent Agreement.

Mal Zerden just retired as the State/DDTC Division Chief for Category VIII, Aircraft and Associated Equipment. Mal was with State/DDTC for 27 years and has worked with all of the U.S. Munitions List categories. He is considered to be an expert on licensing, Commodity Jurisdiction and Agreements.

Patricia Dudley is a former State/DDTC Licensing Officer who has extensive government and industry licensing experience. With over 14 years of service at the U.S. Department of State, serving three Secretary of State's, and more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the satellite and defense services and defense industry, Ms. Dudley possesses a unique combination of Government experience with practical application and implementation. Following her tenure at State, Ms Dudley joined Intelsat, the world's largest satellite owner/operator, and was instrumental in transforming an intergovernmental organization to a private corporation where she managed a comprehensive export compliance program.

John A. Ordway has practiced law for over twenty five years, primarily in the fields of export control and government procurement law. Mr. Ordway has particular expertise representing and advising satellite manufacturers, satellite operators, space underwriters, NASA contractors, systems engineers, law firms, and manufacturers of satellite subsystems, parts, and components.

Mr. Ordway speaks and writes frequently on the ITAR and government procurement, and has been quoted in Businessweek, Satellite Week, The Space Review, the Guardian, Asian Times Online, Communications Week, Aviation Week & Space Technology, Space News, as well as in other publications. Mr. Ordway received his J.D. from George Washington University Law School, and his B.A. from Harvard University. Between college and law school, Mr. Ordway studied Mandarin Chinese in Hong Kong and Taiwan on a Rotary Graduate Fellowship.

Ginger Carney has managed export compliance programs at Varian Associates, Watkins-Johnson Company, McDonnell Douglas (acquired by Boeing in 1997), Smiths Aerospace, Northrop Grumman, and BAE Systems. These positions included experience at UK-owned companies, and responsibility for export compliance audit and training programs at the corporate level. Ginger was the Director Export Compliance at the Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium (NCOIC®) was the past President of the Society of international Affairs (SIA) and has served on the SIA Board of Directors for the last eight years.

Matthew McGrath is a Washington attorney with McGrath Law Group and has more than 20 years of ITAR and defense trade experience. His areas of expertise include export controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, and other related areas of law. He is a member of the Technology Working Group (TWG) for the Militarily Critical Technologies Program (MCTP).
